I am currently a Software Engineer at Celestron, a leading consumer telescope manufacturer. I am working on projects in embedded linux, UI/UX for embedded systems, and automated telescope control.
I was formerly a Senior Software Engineer at SmartAction, an AI company in the customer service automation space. I came on in the R&D department, working on a project in NLU. Working at SmartAction was a great learning experience, as I had the opportunity to move from working exclusively on that narrowly focused project to a role with a broader range of responsibilities. I worked on core backend web services, developed internal tools, and developed client-facing voice applications.
I graduated from UCLA in August 2017 in Linguistics with Departmental Honors, a Minor in Math, and a Specialization in Computing. Before that, I studied math, linguistics, and computer science at Pasadena City College from 2011 to 2015.
